Transcript | New York Dec 6th 1872 Dear Mother I am now on way home to Ireland I sent 150 dollars through a Post Office order in Chicago on Dec 3rd in your name if any thing should happen me on my way home you can go to the post office in Portaferry and deraw [draw?] it I am to sail to morrow on the Atlantic of the white star line the folks was all well when I left Chicago no more from your son William W. Shaw You will have to show this letter in the post office |
