Transcript | Atticall, December 21, 1880 Dear Brother I received yours and glad that you and family are in good health. my health is but very Poorly at Present. I keep very weak. I am gone very thin. I am sorry that you lost the Law Suits. I had a letter from the Priest. he says it would be foolishness to go to law to recover the money that is out. I think you had better follow his advice. I enclose a cheque for œ20-0-0 be pleased to pay Father [Ollette?] excuse me writing to him at present this is the last of the œ134-0-0 that I have gave to my friends and not one cent for your own use. I must keep the little I have in hand unto I see if I may get better. I want to provide for Sister Mary I should not like her to fall back on James Rodgers after my Decease. I did not believe one word of Sister Sally letter Knowing that you had none of Berneys money. Pleased to write and ackknowledge receipt of the money. Excuse me Writing you a long letter Perhaps I will be able to write more fully next time.
