Johnnie Elkin (sic) second daughter (Maggie Jane) is not expected to live very long she is very bad this last day or two. She got a hurt (sic) in June and never got better of it since, From what we hear. Joe & Willie was fighting & she went to sep- arate [separate?] them & some of the two gave her a kick: which I believe will be the means of her death. They had her in Omagh with Thompson but he could do nothing & she was at the shore for a week, but has got worse since she came home There is some talk that Willie John is going back again, & Mary Mc Knight is for going about the first of next month: she may be along with him I hope Aunt is all right [alright?] again I was for writing this week but did not do it yet she has our Photos by now No more at this time your Sister B M Smyth £5 today |
