There [their?] trunks are gone Sara tells me to tell you, folks to go down to her place to see them after they land, Indeed if this letter reaches [in?] time some of you might go down to Londonderry and meet the boat coming [coming?] in if you know the time. [Page 2] about July the first or second she is probably due., Just like when I am leaving home everybody is in a hurry to get started, The train leaves Belle River (about 7 miles from here) at 11,45 a.m. It is now 8,30 o-clock so they will soon be on their way to New York, I came down last night and cannot get back to the first train at 10, o'clock so my pupils will be waiting for me, I intended to wheel, up this morning but it rained during the night and -so I could not make it that way. [Page 3] I hope [the?] girls [have?] a good time. would like to be going myself but must wait awhile, Belle will give you all the news and tell you all the news about everything, Sara called in to my school the other day while she was in Essex, It is not a very busy time so you will be able [Page 4] to drive Belle around and show her the poor places as well as the nice looking places of Ireland. Well this is all as I must make a move to Essex, [Annie?] Cassie and other [sic] are here and [well?] so good Bye rember [remember?] me to Tommy Hay I wish he could vist me,, Yours Jas [James?] A.
