Transcript | South Woodslee June 14th [90?] Dear Brother We received your note and pictures last night and was very glad to see the pictures of you and the boys. I think they are fine boys you have plenty of help to drive on the work. we have 65 acres under crop this year I have 15 acres of indian corn we are goin [going?] [intow?] it with the cultivatars [cultivators?] on Monday all being well hay harvest will be on in about two weeks wheat is out in [head?] and all looks well crops is looking well we have a very fine spring and summer So far if James thinks of comming [coming?] out to this country we will be verry [very?] glad to see him and he might take a notion to Stay here i would say more but you know people don't want their children to lave [leave?] them. but if boys or girls wants to make money this is where the [they?] can dow [do?] it. i would like to go and see all the folks but i can't verry [very?] well unless I [sell?] the farm nomore at preasant [present?] Wm [William?] Smyth.
