Transcript | Utica, N. Y., May 26, 1904. Messrs. Joshua A. Peel & Son, Armagh, Ireland. Re. FRANCIS McKEON. Gentlemen:-- Your letter of May 16th just received. Also enclosures. I note that you ask to have Mr. McKoen's [McKeon's?] affidavit made before the British Consul or Vice-consul. Can it not be executed the same as your power of attorney? In that case it was executed before a notary public, the clerk of the court's certificate was attached and it was sent to a British Consul for his certificate. If that can be done in this case, kindly give me specific directions as to what is to be done by the consul. If it can be done, this way, I should prefer it as it would cost at least $25.00 to have it made before a British consul. As to the other affidavit or affidavits we make, do you want those executed in the same way? Kindly answer at once, and in the meantime, I will have everything in readiness so that there will be no delay after I hear from you. Yours truly, L. N. Southworth. Dic. L. N. S. |
