Transcript | Southfield Mich [Michigan?] July 26th 1891 Dear friend Anna I recieved [received?] your kind letter and was glad to hear from you but cannot say that we are all well. Henry has been sick and so have I but am well now. Yes Annie we would all be very glad to see you [Stained] I [stained] [stained] [stained] I saw you last. I did not go any where this [7th?] until night and then went to Franklin where I had a splendid good time Well now I dont think Dollie is one half as good as you are if she is Mrs Henning No Annie it was Mr. Render himself that got killed Yes Ma is quite well nowadays I suppose it was a grand sight for you to Lake-side I would have liked to gone but Will was busy in the wheat and could not leave Annie we put up 129 qts of cherries and berries in one week. Well Annie I am glad to hear your sister is married but Annie do not despair your time is to come and you will be happier when it does come than if you had been married these last [5?] years dont you think so. Annie you will think I am never going to send you my picture wont you but Will & I are coming up to pontiac some day this summer and get our pictures taken Mr Castle's folks have got either a piano or an organ and I dont know which but I see it down there I suppose Jemmie and the boys will be quite musicians some day That is if they learn as fast as they do at school. what do you think about it. Well Annie I suppose you will be out before long I will be right glad to see you any time Excuse pencil for I was to [too?] lazy to make any ink and I send my love to you with my BIG Kiss.
