Dear Mother Brother and Sisters

I take the oppertunity [opportunity?] of writing
to you once more with the Bearer James Brown, I recd
[received?] two letters by John Mooney, which complains
of me not writing. I had nothing particular to write
except the Death of the Twins and I understood by A
letter from John that he had mentioned it to you, the
one died on the 3d and the other on the 9th of October
1830 and at the same time Robert lay for 8 weeks helpless
and the most of the time speechless, it was the billious
[bilious?] fever the twins took and turned to A Typhus,
if the [they?] had lived to last 29th of February
the [they?] would have been 8 years old the [they?]
were going to School and learning fast and could scarce
tell them Apart. My family mow consists of John, Robert,
Elizabeth Ann and Nathaniel, you wanted to know what
buisness [business?] I follow. I have learned
to be an Engineer and has 6 Dollars per week.

I send Mother A Clock and would have sent your Children
two Caps but James could not take them without breaking
them- you mentioned that you thought you could get the
money of Dixon if I would authorise you the old raschal
[rascal?] cleared out and never paid one cent to me. I
would have sent the power of Attorney but it would not
be got for less than 5 Dollars and I did not want to
throw good money away for bad, but if you can get it
off him I would be glad you would try. I would have
sent you some Cloverseed but James was not able to manage
it and I think you can buy it as cheap there as here
with paying freight and Duty.
Barnard Mulligans friends [friend?] ned [need?] not expect
more out of the house for when it was sold it did not
Amount to more than he got with paying the Debt that
was against it. It is now 10 OClock and I must go
abed for I have to be early up in the morning-
For further particulars I refer you to the bearer for
I have no more to say at present.
Jean and I joins in sending
our love to Mother Brother Shusanna [Susanna?]
and Agness [Agnes?] hoping these lines will find you
all well as are at present no more.

PS Nancy wanted but remains your
to know how the Clergy Loving Brother
are paid here, the [they?]
are Nathaniel Taylor
paid with money only
some that will preach for
nothing, likewise how the [they?] worship
I have not time to give to you A
