Transcript | Ardvarney Nov 15th 1891 Dear Sister I now take the pleasure of writing a few lines to you to let you know how I am at present. I am quite well in health thanks to a merciful providence. (and hoping that this will find you enjoying the blessings) I like my situation well enough as far as my work goes I haven't too much to do nor is it very difficult I have to get up in the morning at six o'clock but I can be in bed at 8 o'clock If I like and besides the ladies are very kind to me If I was hurried they would help me, but I don't like staying here spending my time for so little but I suppose you don't think much of me for coming and [dont?] think less of this, I was home to-day and saw a letter they had from you I was pleased to hear of your well-being I saw Mother and Jane and Maggie and Johnny they all look well only that Mother's hair is getting quite grey I suppose you would hardly recognise me now. I was quite small when you went away I have not very much news to send you this time but I expect to have some more next time, we've got Mr Willie married at last to Miss Roper a Lady from Dublin the Marriage was celebrated there Miss Emma was the only one of the house that attended to it she stayed a week there but we were all glad to see her back so now I must come to a close he has taken up his abode in Mr Phibb's old house in Drumkeen its drawing near Christmas and you told us last new years day that you were to see us all before that day twelve month again, but I'm afraid you wont so now good bye for the present I remain Your loving and Affectionate Sister Rose Rose Weir Advarney Ederney P.O.
