Could G.H.A. who compiled
the Savage family aid me
in hunting my ancestors
of that name (Savage) in
Northern Ireland and
kindly write me his terms
for so doing

Edward Savage, said to
have been a french Hugenot [Huguenot?]
and to have taken
refuge in Ireland where
he died leaving a widow
and three sons. John,
Abraham, and Edward.
Mrs. Savage married
again either Anthony or John
Hamilton, and came to
Rutland, Worcester County
Massachusetts in 1717. Her
three sons by her first
husband Edward, John
and Abraham Savage.
John Savage was Chief
Justice of New York State.
If you can aid me
in any way kindly
write me your terms

for so doing
and oblige
M.L. Weyman.
