Transcript | Dear Matty New York 7th March 1787 Above is Copy of what I wrote you the 7th past & am much disapointed [disappointed?] in not hearing from you by the many pacqt [pacquets?] which arrived the 18th past, your known punctuality makes me very uneasy. God grant I may have no occasion for it, as I shall wait with great anxiety for the arrival of the Feby [February?] one?] I am sending Mr Albright out into the Country to try to get in what money he can to help to pay of [off?] the Debts of the late Company there is nothing done by the Legislature of this State relative the law I mentiond [mentioned?] to you tho they think it will be repeald [repealed?], I hope it may be so, & that I shall soon hear from you living with love to you & our sisters Dear Matty [&c?] Pacquet Belfast [&c?] HY [Hamilton Young?] [&c?] |
