Transcript | Canada The Citadel, Quebec Sepr [September?] 6 1872 My dear Stanley I was equally surprised and delighted to get your letter, more especially as it so happens we count upon being in Toronto about the time you mention for your arrival there. I go to Toronto and to the Great Agricultural Show in Hamilton at the end of this month, after which we proceed to Niagara for the first week in October and then return to Toronto for the remainder of the month. I shall be most interested in all that you have to tell me and it will be a great pleasure both to Lady Dufferin and my self [myself?] to bid Mrs Stanley welcome on Canadian soil. Ever yours sincerely Dufferin |
