Transcript | General Post Office, London, 23rd Feby [February?] 1877 Francis Park, The Postmaster-General having been pleased to nominate you to the situation of Post Messenger from Stewartstown to Arboe [Ardboe?] on the recommendation of Captain Honble [honourable?] Henry L. Corry M.P. [Member of Parliament?] I request you will immediately furnish the Postmaster of Dungannon with your address, in order that you may receive instructions as to your examination. It is desirable that you should not relinquish any employment you may now have, until the result of the examination has been communicated to you. If you had not had the Small Pox or been vaccinated recently, it will be necessary for you to be re-vaccinated at once. I annex a statement of the qualifications indispensable for this appointment I am, Your obedient Servant, F. M'Laugton. [McLaugton?] -------------- Private Secretary. No. 250.
