Dear Bob
Just a line to let you know
I got your letter safely a fortnight
ago. & the ÷2 s10 I gave her the
lot as it will leave you all the
less to pay. & when all is settled she
will have no excuse. I'll get a job
& make something for myself. when
you write Bob never mention anything
that I tell you in my letters as she might
see them I could tell you a good lot
if I saw you but never mind. I might
see you sometime if all was settled. Its
not very long to Xmas now time soon
wears in. Did you excape [escape?] the cold
this winter. I never hardly get rid of
it. I am sorry Bob for not answering
your letter when I got it. I am sure you
were worried when I did not answer
it right away especially when there
is money in it The wee fellow is getting
on fine 18 months now running about
a nice wee boy he is. Well Bob as
I have not much news to tell. I'll close
here with best love & good luck.
From Mary xxxx
