Transcript | Lieut. Colonel J.D. Nixon, 5 Richmond Road, Catterick Camp, Yorks. 5th August, 1963 Dear Mr. Green I saw your letter in the Impartial Reporter. You might be interested in the attached copy of a letter which is pasted in the front of my family Bible. It was written about my Great Grandfather, by someone who emigrated to Chicago at the time of the famine in Ireland. I have typed the copy exactly as it was published, All one paragraph.
