Dear Father & Mother
Having wrote to you by the ship
Fame a few days ago and Inclosed [enclosed?] a bill
of lading for I Cask of Flax seed of Long Island
Growth which I sent by the above ship for your
own use all expences [expenses?] being paid here except
post charges at Derry which will be about /11d
I now Enclose another bill of Lading of the same
[?]te by the ship Huron bound for Londonderry
if you do not receive my first letter you will
please to present this bill of Lading to the
Consignee of the ship Fame in Londonderry
and receive the cask of seed markd [marked?] David Mc
Clorg
Dear friends i [I?] intend Going over to see you but
should we never meet here i [I?] hope we will
Meet in a better place to part no more
write to me as soon as possible and Let me
know how matters is with you our friends
is all well and Mr Dunshee is the best friend
