Transcript | Lonaconing March 18th 1874 My Dear Father I take the opportunity of writing these few lines hoping to find you still in good health. I thought it strange I could not get no answer for I wrote three letters to you since I went to the western part of this country but I would like to know if the girls are well as I have not got any word from them this two years and I would like to know if Sarah is still with you. My Dear Father I would like to if you and Sarah would come to this country I will send your passages in the next letter if you say you and Sarah will come tell me in your next if Hugh Sannahan is well or if he is married. and let me know if John Hagan wife and family is all well Dear Father we have got three of a family John Edward and Sarah And are all well And we all join in sending our best respects and love to you and Sarah no more at present from your kind and affectionate son and daughter for ever we will have more information in the next Directions John McGurk Lonaconing Alleghaney [Allegheny?] County State of Maryland United States America |
