Tyrone November 8th 1900 Dear James I now take the pleasure of writing you these few lines to let you know that we are all in good health at present hoping you are well yourself also your cousin I suppose she got landed safe again Bella & her was over for a couple of days with us & I liked her very much. I only wish she had stoped [stopped?] longer with us. Lizzie was very fond of her to [too?] & I wish every one was like her. I hope she will come back to see us again, We would all be very pleased to see her, John Charlie is well & getting on very well at the trade he does not play much at the violin now except some nights I think he is getting tired with it & he should not For it is very nice to to be able to play. I am learning it now & I like it very much. There is not much news about Gortin only. There was New Schools built last summer & there was a grand entertainment in them last month. I liked it very much & so did every one that was at it. Supper was at 7p.m. & dancing at 9p.m. The string band from Omagh was down & it was lovely music Uncle & a few other (sic) was playing the Violin I think there will not be another night like it in Gortin again I think this is all the news I have to say.
