Dear Laurence,
Yo Said that Willie was up at his unkles in youre Last Letter. I suppose
that he brought a Lot of news back. He ought to be doing well
now for American Bacon is very Deare. Hear it is 10d a pound. So he
will be piling up his Dollars.
Dear Laurence, I was thinking about you. You Should Send Willie
to a trade of som discription. He is old anough now. If you Keep him
any longer at Home he will be geting Idle. He ought to be bringing in
Some Money to help you. You had to goe to worke very Early. William
went to worke when he was 10 or 11 years at the most.
Let us Know if you have your House and Land all pade of[f] and Send
a Good Long Letter and if you are to tired Willie will rite it for you.
