Transcript | 295 Stretford Road Manchester Feb 4th- 84 Dear Laurence and Mary Ann, I hope you will Excuse us for not answering youre letter before this. We ware So busy Since we came to Stret ford Road we had hard ley time to do halfe of what we had to do. The Shop is So Large it wants a Lot of Looking after. William was busy getting circulars ready. He got 30 thousant printed for all the Shops. The|y] cost a Lot of Money but we Expect the[y] will bring Some work in. Trade is not So good as it has been. The Scotch dyers are doing all the[y] can to get the trade of Manchester, putting their Sines up Every place the[y] can get a chance. So it will take us all Our time to wach them. Our shop is the nicest dyers shop in Manchester. Dear Laurence, we are all in pretty good health. The weather has been Very Mild. We had no frost or Snow this winter but we had two great Storms don great damage in Ireland and England. We thought the House would be bio wen down on[e] night, the Storm was So great. John and Bridget is in good Health and doing well. We had James Cur ran back from America again. I will Send you one of the circulars to See what you think about it. Dear Laurence, it was on this day of the Month that you Left us 4th of Feb. It seems a Long Time. I have nothing More to Say this time.
