He took ill on Thursday 16th. of December and died on Sunday the 19th. He had the enjoyment of good health up to that but the change soon came. Medical Assistance had No avail. Inflimation was the cause of his Death. We deeply regret the loss of sutch a father. He was as sensible as ever to his last moments. We must not grieve he is better off. He told me to not be fretting for he was all right and so he was. I never witeness sutch a seine [scene] to see him Praying to God to his last moments. We have every right to be thankful to God when It was his will to take him too see him pass triumphant home to Glory And our friends and Neighbours told us that we had no right to be sorry. Ireland is in a disturbed state at the present time caused by the Irish National Land League But it is thought that the Government will put it down. Some think it will raise a war but I think it will not goe so far. God for bid It would. The people in the west And South of Ireland are the worst about the Land League.
