| Transcript | Parliament House, Melbourne. 3 June 1901 My dear Mother You will see by the Address that we are now in the first Session of the Federal Parliament. Abbie and the children are here, but I go home from Friday to Tuesday. The change cuts up one's business, but I did not care to drop out of Federal Politics. This is a much colder Winter Climate than the Adelaide one, which is in many respects ideal. The children are well. Joan now bustles Round a good deal. She has Plenty to say for herself and remembers well. I have not seen any of the Bergins, but I think they are in Sydney. You remember Mrs. Madden, who subsequently became Mrs. Gleeson. Her Husband, a Doctor, has since died I believe She is left well off. The Bell Rings, so With Love to all Your affectionate Son P. McM. Glynn |
