To Louisa McNab
My dear Louisa

Willy told me you were going to town this evening and as I may not see
you before you go I will leave a few lines as I want to beg of you to get
me some of the thin muslin at Snyders for Joan's dress & also some of
the kind you got for lining & any thing else you think she may require. I
will enclose an order for the muslin & for the lining & you can put in the
number of yards in the blank I leave.
I am going to Goodwood but shall be home in a little time. When
are you coming up again. As you will have a better chance of seeing Kate
Brown than I shall, you had better make up the parcel, or if you like to
send it to me I will put my letter in. I suppose Kate will be here or at the Reid's before she goes. I am writing in such hurry I scarcely know what I am doing, but hope you will be able to make out what I mean.
With love to your Father & Mother. Believe me dear Lou. Your
affect Mother
