Transcript | bellehoy June 21, 1806 Dear brother I am sorry you have forgot your brothers and sisters in this country but could I write as you can I would not neglect it every opertunity I wrote with cousin John Forsythe hoping you would answer my letter Jacob is uneasy about John as he had no money to give him but fortune has favoured him he is left ahansome fortune by his grand father and uncle in belfast between his sister peggy and him is left some thousands and about three hundred by the grand father I heard Jacob say eighteen hundred by the his father in law falls to his family as for Mr haslet, of belfast nearly live thousand he mad no will but he died ten days before his father and of course the father is the nearest one in his will he mentioned overplus money to peggy and John and his will was made before his son died and that is made out overplus money—wich if it had fallen alike to the family I should been better satisfied Dear brother excuse my bad writing as I am wearing specks my sight is verry bad—brother william is got marled to a virtues young woman and a handsome fortune.
