Transcript | Whereas I Hanna Carter of the Township of East Bradford in the County of Chester & State of Pennsylvania, being advanc'd in years & Weak in Body but of sound disposing mind and memory, Doth make this my last Will & Testament for the disposal of my Worldly Property in the following manner.— Imprimis— My Will is that my just Debts & Funeral expences he immediately paid and discharged after my decease by my Executors hereafter named.— Item. I give & bequeath unto my daughter Jane Painter my Riding Waggon, a Settle, Chairs Pewter & all other Articles which I left in her Possession.—and also one half of all my wearing apparel.- Item. I give & bequeath unto my daughter Hannah Forsythe all my Household goods & Books which I now Possess in the house where I now dwell with one half of all my wearing apparel. Item. I give & bequeath unto my Grand Children Nathan, Caleb, John, Joseph & James Carter Children of my Son James Carter Deceased all the Money which I may have after paying my Just Debts & funeral expences as aforesaid, to be divided between them Share & Share alike— And I further hereby Dominate & appoint my Soninlaw John Forsythe and my Friend Philip Price Junr sole executors of this my last Will and Testament & hereby revoke all other Wills whatsoever by me made In Witness whereof I have hereunto sett my hand and Seal this Twentieth day of the First.
