Transcript | To Porter & Mierope, London 21 May 1756 Gentlemen: Annexed you have Copy of whal I wrote you by the Second Packet. Inclosed you have Thomas Saul Second Bill2 & Several Bills, of which you have account annexed to get accepted & forward them to our Thomas Greg. The trade from Holland We believe will be sloped. In that case, there will be an open[ing] to do something very large in India Goods from your place. As soon as it is prudent to engage in any you shall hear from us. Logwood now sells from £9 to £10 per Ton. Rice 12s per hundredweight, Sarsperilla ls lOd to 2s per pound.
