Transcript | To Isaac & Zachary Hope, Rotterdam 21 May 1756 Sir: Please be refered to the enclosed which was forwarded by the Packet Since are without any of your favours. We dare not venture to bring any of your goods to this place, as the officers are as strict as they can be. As soon as it is prudent, you may depend shall loss no time. Captain Wilkenson writes you by this oppertunity. He is affraid the stopage of the Trade from your parts would put it out of his power to make you any money in so small A Vessel. We must say we agree with him in his opinion. If you thought A large would do, they may be got on very reasonable terms here. Annexed you have the Currency of this Market.
