Dear Sir:
I am just now favoured with Allen & Smellies of the 6th March with
Invoice of Sundry goods. They are arrived at Boston. We shall credit
their accounts for their cost. You’l please order from them the same
assortment of Threads & Handkerchiefs to be here in the fall, but bind
them to Pack up no Handkerchiefs but what are Blue & White.
They order me to lay out the Proceeds of some Lawns they have consigned
in Flaxseed. Pray encourage them to join with some of their Friends
& send out a Vessel to load with it. They may send out in her Coals, some
Barley, Servants &c.
I have no news from Europe yet. We dayly look for many Vessels which
I hope will soon arrive.
