Transcript | To Thomas Green, Boston 23 May 1756 Sir: We take the liberty to trouble you with the enclosed Bill of Lading to receive from Captain Hyndman two boxes directed to our WC. If there is any Vessel bound directly to this, please forward them by her. If not, send them by way of Rhode Island to care of Mr. Andrew Hunter of Newport with directions to forward them. Shall take the first oppertunity to remit you the Charge on them. Freight to England is 50 to 55 per ton; to Holland or Hamburg, 60 to 70s per ton. At present, there [are] Vessels wanted. |
