Dear Sir:
Please be refered to mine of the 25th Instant by Captain Troy to
Dublin. I am now favoured with yours by our snow Johnson dated the
2nd February. She arrived here the 26th Instant & am in hopes will
make A very tolerable Voyage. I hope to have her clear to sail 10
Liverpool about 1st July. What part of her Cargoe will be on our accounts
I cant now inform you, but am much affraid the greatest part of it must.
I shall use my utmost endeavors to get Freight for her as soon as she is
clear of this present Cargoe. I shall bring her to our Company account
& shall state our half Interest in her at £360 & Debit our particular
accounts with the Fourth Charges on her till the Company Owns her, &
when the Cargoe by her is sold, we shall have Credit in Our Stock
Account for the Fourth Neat Proceeds of it. Youl please bring to my Credit
the Fourth cost of her & Lumber per annexed account.
I woud choose to have £200 Sterling Insured on our half Interest in the
Johnson from this to Liverpool. So please order it to be made. My Brothers
orders will be to proceed North about Ireland. As soon as I know the Value
of the Cargoe shall advise you to order Insureance on it if you see proper,
but I think we may run the risk of it.
I have the pleasure to Inform you Captain Corney is arrived from
Rotterdam in the sound. Shall take Che needfull care of our goods. I shall
bring the cost of your Handkerchiefs & threads to your Credit in Stock
account at 80 per Cent Exchange on the cost. They are arrived at Boston.
Pray mis no oppertunity to procure us bussiness. I dayly expect the
Bookeeper & A Boy or two you expected to get out of the Hospital. WC
