Transcript | To Herman Van Yzendoorn, Rotterdam 9 June 1756 Sir: You have enclosed Bill of Lading for ____ Bundles, weight ____ pounds of Sarsaperilla shiped by the Snow Magog, Isaac Sheldon Master, which we desire you may dispose of to the best advantage & ship us the Neat proceeds. One half in Ozenbriggs & one half in Russia Duck. Let the Ozenbriggs be in large Bolts, & them & the Duck packed two in a Matt. We have agreed the Freight with Captain Sheldon & is to be four shillings per Bolt, if times are as they are now, but should A War be declared, then the Freight is to be five Shillings Currency per Bolt when deliverd here. We dont choose to have any Insureance made on this adventure out. per the Magog, Capt. Sheldon |
