I gave John Tweed the old [?] Brown Jacket & 4 Plugs Tobacco 12 Segars [Cigars?] a Packet [?] & œ7 0 0 sterling one to yourself one to Jane & œ5 to Mother as a Crishames [Christmas?] Box - & i [I?] am realy [really?] sorry i [I?] cannot get home myself Mr John Tweed will be remitting money to uncle John on Tuesday & he will send it all together which i [I?] think is the safest if i [I?] had thought i [I?] was not going to get home i [I?] would sent it long ago By the Bank. John Tweed is Bound to Derry But he says he will call at Larne & i [I?] have gave him the Parcel for Martha Smily in Larne. i [I?] hope you have [rote] [wrote?] to me we will sail on Wednesday or Thursday at the farthust [farthest?] we will have about 30 Passengers we are not going to come under the act So we can take 30 independent of the act. No more at Present But remains your Brother S Smiley we have 400 tons of our Cargo in we had another of our ships from Philad [Philadelphia?] last night it had 34 Days Passage i [I?] [?] our Passage 28 Days you will receive your money from uncle John you will have to show this line of John Tweeds to uncle |
