The 12th Instant Captain John Wallace & his Crew arrived here. The
Brigg Brant ford & all her Cargoe was lost the 29 April last about six

The owners suffers very considerably. The Captain & Crew saved their
lives with great difficulty.
We have repeated Alarms with our Custom house officers. They make Seizures almost dayly. We are among the number of the sufferers, as are
most of the Merchants in the place. Your goods by Wilkenson are got safe
to Philadelphia, & hope to have them sold there to advantage. We dayly
expect John Nealson & have left nothing undone for our mutual Interest. G&C
