Transcript | To Robert Workman, Barbadoes 11 July 1756 Dear Sir: I wrote you 14th March Via Philadelphia. Since am without any of your favours. The 1st May last I enterd into Partnership with Thomas Greg. Our Firm you have below. We beg leave to make you a tender of service here & to assure you we at any time will be concerned with you in any promising scheme. Our WC wishes it had been in his power to send you the bearors Cargo. It was consigned us by John Potts, John Hyde, & our T. Greg & woud have brought A very great price. But A very large supply for the Forces arrived here some time agoe. Our Orders was to consign to W&W in Barbadoes & in the other Islands lo whome we thought proper. There is great reason to believe Rum & Barrel Sugar wil bring a good price in the Fall. WC, G&C per the Greg, Capt. Hathorn- |
