| Transcript | To Jacob Bosanquet, Hamburgh 16 August 1756 Sir: We had the pleasure to write to you the 23rd June by Captain Deane enclosing bill of Lading for 25 Tons of Logwood & the 10th Instant by the Packet. For further Particulars refer you to them. Inclosed you have bill of Lading for Sundry goods shiped by the Betsey, Thomas Castleton Master, & on the Back of it, the Weight of them. Please to dispose of them to the Best advantage, furnish us with the sales, & remit the proceeds as our Thomas Greg of Belfast may direct. We have had but one french Prize brought in here called the Le Centaur of Bourdcaux & bound from Martinico there. Her Cargoe Consisted of Coffee which sold from 8d to l0d per pound, Sugar from 31/2d to 7d per pound, Cotton, 14d to 16d per pound. As we have many Privateers out from this, We expect a Number of prizes. You may rely on our best endeavours for your Interest When its in our power to Serve you here.
