Transcript | To Richard Fulton, Halifax, [Nova Scotia] 30 September 1756 Sir: You may remember when you give your note to Captain Deane, it was to be paid immediately. But certainly you have let that part of the bargain escape your memory, or you would not give me so much trouble to send your note by so many hands. I beg the favour of you to pay it to Mr. Butler which will oblige me. He has my orders to return it, if not immediately paid, when I shall oblige Captain Dane to pay me.
