Transcript | To Melling, McQuoid & Marshall, Liverpool 13 October 1756 Gentlemen: We are sory we can give you now no more agreeable account of your affairs with Messrs. Aspinwall & Doughty. The 9th Instant, they made out A list of outstanding debts on your Account amounting to £228.15.1072, Swore to it, & tendered the balance which is £34.14.10 which we received. They offer to assign us over the outstanding Debts, but as we think they can get them in sooner nor us, we leave them in their hands.
