Transcript | To Parkinson & Ambrose, Newbern 16 October 1756 Gentlemen: I am favoured with yours of the 20th Ultimo by Captain Beats3 who deliverd me 61 ban-ills of Turpentine, 95 Barrills of Tarr, 1 Cask snake Root,& 1 Cask Mertle Wax, which I am sorry to Inform you are all very bad Articles. The Tar & Turpentine came in the worst order ever was. I question much if 20 barrills will fill Them. But on this Subject, I refer you to Captain Beats. Neither of these Articles bear any price now. He lyes with all his in. This goes by way of Philadelphia to stop you Shiping any more here & to request you to remit me as soon as you can in something that will bring Cash, for I question when I will be so much in Cash as I have Paid Bates freight for your goods.
