Transcript | To Thomas Greg, Belfast 27 October 1756 Dear Sir: Being without any of your favours since I wrote you by the last Packet & by way of Philadelphia, all of which you have Copys herewith, have now to add that we shall want about 40 Bolts of Ozenbriggs & 100 Pieces of Coarse Garlixs about 17s A Piece in the spring. I would choose you would order on receipt of this £300 Sterling to be Insured on the Freight of the Waddell & £900 Sterling on the Freight also, but this last sum have covered from all risks but the Enemy. It will eat up the freight too much to pay the high Premiums on all our Interest. I shant have Occasion to draw on you & hopes soon to remit you, & I expect you wont after this be pinched by your affairs here. WC per the General Wall Packet Capt. Lutwich & Capt.Cooper |
