Sir:

With this you'l receive Invoice & Bill of Lading for Our joint Cargoe
by your Schooner which your to dispose of in Jamaica, & out of the
proceeds of it & the amounts of the Freight of which you have A List
now delivered, your to purchase Two Negroe Men & A Hogshead of good
Rum & pay the Vessels charges in Jamaica, & what may remain after
this is done, your to dispose of a Half to cash, as we may direct. Pray dont
forget to dispose of the Boards you made the Corn Room of.
You'l receive With this Invoice & Bill of Lading' for what goods we
shiped from this for the Bay of Hondoras which, with the Negroes & rum
you purchase in Jamaica, your to proceed with to the Bay of Hondoras
& there dispose of them for Logwood & have your Vessel loaded
therewith as soon as possible & proceed to this place. Should your Cargoe
fall short to purchase your Load of Logwood, then you must get filled
up on freight, & if it produces more then your Vessel will cary, then you
must endeavor to get it shiped to Holland, England, or this place.
We request you will make all the dispatch in your power & be saving.
The success of the Voyage depends thereon. We wish you a good Voyage

I own the above to be a true Copy of my orders received 4th November
1756 in New York. [signed] William Stewart
