| Transcript | To John Scott & John McMichael, Philadelphia, 12 November 1756 Sir: I am favoured with yours of the 10th November. With this you have A Copy of my Letter to Mr. Griffiths, & if he sees proper to let his Vessel come round, sign A Charter party with him on my terms. Let his Vessel be well filled with Flaxseed & have as long time to load her as possible. I beg youl send me as much of her Cargoe in Bulk as you can. Have A Room made for it. Should Mr. Griffith not choose to acept the offer I have made, then get sloops as fast as you can & dispatch with Flaxseed to me. Send me A Parcel of the old Muskets as soon as you can & dont neglect the Powder & Paper. I dare not venture to freight A Vessel on other terms then I have mentioned to Mr Griffith. |
