Transcript | To Robert Waddell, Esq., Islelanderry 24 November 1756 Dear Sir: You no Doubt have heard that I have been in Partnership with Thomas Greg Since the 1st May Last. Our firm is Greg and Cunningham. We have taken freight, agreeable to your Directions to Daniel Cunningham, for Fifty Hogsheads of Flaxseed in the Ship Waddell, Charles Stewart Master, for Newry. She will be Clear to Sail about the 24th December, is a fine Ship, and Commanded by an Experienced Master. Your Interest on Board of her will Cost £72 Brinish Sterling, which your to govern yourself by if you see proper to Insure. I have Done myself the pleasure to call this ship after you. If She arrives Safe in Newry, I Expect you I do the Captain the Honour to Dine with him on board her. I hope to hear from you by the Vessells expected from Ireland.
