Transcript | To John Ingles, Philadelphia 13 December 1756 Dear Sir: I must again trouble you about the Seized goods, as I am told the Sale of them soon comes on I beg the favour of you to buy them for me if you can get the Musquets from 10s to 16s each, & the Powder for £10 per Hundredweight. As the Collector has been so Good to promise some favours, I think if any is showed, they wont go above the prices mentioned. If they go higher to have them, I should not look upon it as the laist favour. I must beg you'l remmind Mr. Potters & Mr. Smith to spake to the Collector. I have wrote Messrs. Scott & McMichael to pay you what money you call for to pay for the goods. I shall always look upon myself under the greatest obligations for the trouble you have taken this affair. WC |
