Transcript | To Robert Alexander, London Derry 13 December 1756 Sir: We received your Favour of the 19th September (by Capt. Fall) to our WC Agreeable to your order, we have Shiped in the Ship Hopewell, James Falls Master, Thirty Hogsheads of Flaxseed which will cost you about 28/6 British per Hogshead, & he will be clear to Sail in the first Week of January. The Box of goods is sold, but you will loose considerably by them, for such is imported here much cheaper from England then you can send them. The proceeds shall be remitted as you direct. G&C |
