Transcript | To Hugh Hamilton, Newry24 December 1756 Dear Sir: We are favoured with your esteemed favour to our WC per Captain Callwell. Shall dispose of the Box of goods you sent as soon as in our power but are affraid it will be some time before that will come about. We have shiped in the Ship Waddell, Charies Stewart Master, Seven Hogsheads of Flaxseed on account of said Adventure & hope it will produce so much. Pray inform Robert Waddell, Esquire, that we shant be able to get Captain Stewart away before the 15th January, least he should be uneasy, of her not arriving as soon as he might expect.
