Transcript | To Robert Alexander, London Derry 7 January 1756 Sir: We wrote you the 13th Instant to which please be refered. Inclosed you have Invoice & Bill of Lading for Thirty Hogsheads of Flaxseed & Two Teirces of Rum shiped in the Hopewell, James Falls Master, amounting to £94.15.2 & Sales of your Box of goods, proceeds £21.2.1 on it. You see we charge you no commission, as its a very poor adventure, & indeed we have made the most of them we could. The balance due us is £73.13.1 Currency, Exchange 821/2: per Cent, is Sterling £40.7.2 which sum we have drawn on Messrs. Alexander & White for favour of Thomas Greg at Sixty days sight.
