Transcript | To Mathew Wilder, Belfast 31 December 1756 Sir: Having long agoe given you full advice of what Interest we shiped for your Account in the Sally, Captain Moor, have now by him to enclose Invoice & Bill of Lading for it & your Account Current balanced by our Draft of this date on Messrs. George & James Portis1 of London at 40 days sight for £140.17.2 Sterling which we doubt not will be duly honoured. Your Cloths wont sell. Pray what shall we do with them. Captain Moor takes 2s/9d per Hogshead more then we coud have got Freight for your Flaxseed in another Vessel full as good as his for, & indeed he got in A great Passion because we wanted him to sign a Bill of Lading leaving the Freight to himself. The Bill of Lading we wanted him to sign you have now enclosed, but we believe he was put on this by some People that he will find in (he end is not his Friends.
