Transcript | To John Hyde, Belfast 13 January 1757 Sir: We are favoured with yours of the 7th September Ordering Fifty Hogsheads of Flaxseed, which we have purchased & shall let lye for some time till we see if the Ross arrives, & if she dis not come in A reasonable time, shall ship them by some other Vessel, which you shall be duely advised of. Annexed you have the prices of goods here. You may be assured, when we can serve you in any respect, it will give us particular pleasure. G&C Exchange to London, 821/2; per Cent Flaxseed, 6/ to 6/6 per Bushel Flower, 14s per Hundredweight Expected lower Martinico Sugars, 3d to 7d per pound St. Domingo ditto, 2 to 6 per pound French Coffee, 8d to 9d per pound Cotton, 16d to 17d per pound per the William & George |
