Transcript | To George & William Weare, [Bristol] 15 January 1757 Gentlemen: We received your severall favours, with Invoice of two Hogsheads of snuff which was carried to your Credit agreeable to what you made them. As we could not get Logwood at your limits, it being £11 per Ton, we have shiped you Forty three Hogsheads of Flaxseed by the Grace, Alexander Ker Master, for which you have Invoice & Bill of Lading inclosed amounting to £108.18.17; is to your debit, & the inclosed bill of £50 Sterling is to the debit of your Brinish Account. Please to observe that we have not yet received one half of the money for your goods, but expects it soon. We heartly wish the Flaxseed may arrive to agood Market & give Content. The Ballance of your Brittish account we shall Remit you by Captain John Nealson, who we Expect will be Early with you at May. He is in a snow belonging to him & us. We hope for your Interest to her.
