Transcript | To George Alker, [Bristol] 18 January 1757 Sir: Inclosed you have sales of your sail Cloath, Proceeds £77.17.9, & a Bill to ballance it at 85 per Cent, Exchange £42.2.0, both which I hope youll find right & aprove of. I have been in Partnership since the first of may last with Thomas Greg. Our Firm is Annexed. When we can serve you here, it will give us Pleasure, as we are on all Occasions ready to Serve our Friends. We hope you will be among the Number.
